Iris Regina (Parsons) Langley, 80, of Jefferson City passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born January 3, 1933 in Boise, Idaho, the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnas (Miller) Parsons.
Iris was united in marriage to Sam Langley on June 2, 1951 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on October15, 2006.
Mrs. Langley worked as a Recreation Aide Fulton State Hospital. She enjoyed drawing and sewing.
She is survived by her son, Dana Langley and his wife Sharon of Macks Creek, Mo.; daughter, Pam Bolden and her husband David of Jefferson City, Mo.; brother Jackson Parson of West Virginia; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit. Interment will follow in Bull Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the time of service.
In lieu of customary memorials, the family suggests donations be made in Iris's name to the Alzheimer's Association, c/o Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, Mo. 65251.
