Irving Jacob Becker Junior, of Windermere, Florida, who worked as a finance and investment executive, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2016, surrounded by his loved ones. Irving was 80 years old.
Irving worked as Chief Financial Officer for Realmark Corporation of J.M Jayson and Company of Getzvville, NY. Prior to that, he worked at Green and Kellogg Corporation of NY and Lee Distributing in Buffalo, NY.
Irving received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Buffalo and his Master's degree from the State University of New York College at Buffalo. He was a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the International Association for Financial Planning.Irving graduated from Buffalo Vocational High School and worked as a bricklayer and teacher before working in finance. He also served in the Marine Corps Reserve.
Irving is survived by the love of his life, Elaine Becker, his wife of 28 years. He is also survived by 6 children: Deborah Becker McLennan (Scott McLennan), David Becker, Donald Becker, Dawn Pohlman (Mark Pohlman) , Douglas Becker and Dana Megas (Phil Megas). Irving also leaves 15 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Irving was born May 26, 1936 in Buffalo, NY to Irving Jacob Becker Senior and Stephanie Becker (Machajewski). His siblings are: Robert Becker (deceased), Norman Becker and Elaine Lechner.
An avid hunter and fisherman, Irving also enjoyed real estate investing, traveling and cooking.
A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 3pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home in Winter Garden, Florida. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Vitas Hospice would be appreciated.
