Obituary

Ivan Javier Parada, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Wednesday March 12, 2014. The beloved husband of Gertrude "Sue" Parada (nee Maher); loving father of Michelle K. Kettler, Javier R. (Beth) Parada, Sean C. Parada and Blaine M. (Jen) Parada. Ivan was the foster father to 161 children over the years. In his free time he enjoyed reading, gardening and listening to music.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked to do something kind for someone or make a donation to the charity of choice .
Services: Funeral from HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL Mortuary, 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 17th to St. Gabriel the Archangel Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass. Visitation Sunday March 16, 2014, 2-7 p.m., Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa. Condolences may be offered at www.hoffmeistercolonial.com
