Ivill Cook, 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. She was born on September 22, 1931 in Freyburg, TX to Fred and Hertha Foerster. Ivill was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Houston for 40 years and current member of United Methodist Church in Onalaska, on Lake Livingston. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who was devoted to her family and will be missed by all. Ivill was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother and two sisters. She is survived by a brother, Harold Foerster, her daughter, Rhonda Norris and husband Jeff; her sons, Randy Cook and wife Anneliese and Bradley Cook and wife Diane; her grandchildren, Adam Norris, Holly Lewis, Shane, Ryan, Rusty, Tyler, Jessica and Cameron Cook; her great-grandchildren, Julia Norris, Olivia and Owen Lewis, Lexi and Jax Cook, Stephanie Casas and Matthew Post; and other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, August 11, 2017 beginning at 12 noon in the Hunters Creek Chapel of Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm. A graveside service and committal will immediately follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Houston, TX. Mom loved her pets. Those that wish may make a donation in her memory to their local animal shelter or organization.

I am so sorry to hear of Ivill's passing. I knew her from Onalaska Mehodist Church. She was one of my pew buddies. She was the nicest person and so full of wit. We had many Sundays together and I will miss her. May God heal the ache in your hearts.
