Izabela Zyl (known to most as Bela)passed away at the age of 96 on November 28, 2012 in her home in PomptonPlains, NJ. She was born in Lodz, Poland and immigrated to Buffalo, NY in 1959,and shortly after moved to the Bronx, NY, where she and her husband, Jerry,opened the stationary store Fame. They later settled in Long Branch, NJ for 35 years.Izabela was a Holocaust survivor, and is survived by her daughter, BettyReisman, 2 grandchildren Amy Reisman and Ronny Reisman, and a large, close family spanning 4 generations. A graveside service will be held on November 30, 2012 at1:30PM at Agudath Achim Cemetery, Neptune, NJ. Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean, are in charge of arrangements.
