Wow, what an enriching life Uncle John lived, what a blessing to everyone! As you all were to him. I'll always remember when the family came to grandma's to visit Uncle John would ask me all kinds of questions!! My mom "Julie" was the same way!! Never knew a stranger. Embrace all the great/happy/silly memories, they will get you through. He's dancing now next to the Lord and my mom is next to him. God Bless you all. Rachel Simpson Vick (Ada, OK)

Millie, Pat, Tony, Carmella, Amy, and grandkids:
I am so sorry for your lose. Remember John is free now and it is his time to Walk and hold his arms out for a hug. All these things we have missed. Our families are much alike, the same dynamics. For us the cherished moments were unforgettable (bathroom conversation!) Think of all of the personal time that you had with John and I bet there is a chuckle deep down. We are lucky for the many, many personal moments.
When we came to visit in 2007 John and Millie welcomed us in with open arms, feed all four of us and even wanted us to stay longer! His demeanor was just like moms, his sister Julie. They were strong, intelligent and brave people never feeling pity. You all have the traits.
Blessed are all of you who have spent so many wonderful years with John. It's okay to cry and remember the wonderful and funny memories. It is John's time to join his heavenly father and walk in peace.
Love to all,
Rae Lynn and family
