Julia, my sincere sympathies to you and your entire family. Jacob has had a very special place in my heart since the first time I met him. Jacob was and will always be my favorite co-worker. During my first years of my career at SMC Jack showed me the ropes. He taught me things about my profession I could not learn in a book. By Jack's example I learned how to have compassion for the people I took care of in the hospital. Jack was a wonderful man. Jack was an intelligent and caring individual, always helping out and giving the underdog a chance. Most of all Jack was loved by all! I will miss you my friend Jacob.
God bless

I want to send my condolences to the whole Abeyta family. Joe Abeyta was my step dad, and a good one at that. I grew up with the whole Abeyta family, and I vividly remember going to Jack and Julia's (spelling) house, as a kid, on Lake Ave. They were all so nice to me. What good people! Jack was a character! Even though I haven't seen him since I was young, I have fond memories of Jack and Joe teasing each other and making everyone laugh. I will never forget that. Good bless you all in your time of sorrow. Sincerely, Barbara Clementi (Walker)
