Sorry to hear about Jacks death. I got to know him in St, Maarten, at Peg Legs and playing cards. He was always reading a book at the card table and a blast to be around. He will be missed.

Jack and Linda were a special part of our SXM lives ... we always looked forward to spending time with them at Peg Legs'. His knowledge and friendliness were a big part of our enjoyment of SXM. Jack always had a book in his hand, and was more than willing to discuss any topic that you could mention. He will be sorely missed. May God bless his family, and take Jack directly to "heaven's library" ... he will love it there.

Jack loved playing jokes. I remember we were in a house in Gary and Jack had made a sale. He was taking a credit app. He asked the lady where she worked. She said I work at US Steel. He said what do you do? She said I am a Hooker. He said how much money do you make? She said I make $200.00 a week. With that sheepish smile of his he looked her straight in the face and said,"hell I know a hooker that makes twice that much. I fell off the chair laughing. That was my man Jack.
