Jack Burns, age 84 passed on April 30, 2012. Loving husband of Gerry. Dearest father of Thomas (Charlene), Susan Scalf, Diane (Brian) Kerby, and Michael. Jack is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Jack was predeceased by his son David, son-in-law Dan, and grandchildren David and Joseph. Jack served in the Navy for 8 years and was a WWII Veteran. He was also employed as a Detroit Police Officer for over 25 years. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 2, 2012 from 4-9PM at Resurrection Funeral Home 40800 Hayes Rd. Clinton Township MI 48038.
