DUNGEY, Jack Robert, age 80, of Saginaw, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at home. Funeral services will be 12:00PM Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 11 AM Wednesday until time of service. Entombment will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, Saginaw. Memorial donations may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #1566, 132 S. Oakley St. Saginaw, MI 48602. Jack was born August 10, 1933 in Saginaw. He attended Arthur Hill High School and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War serving as Corporal. Surviving are his daughter, Carol Lynn Whitfield of Scotts, MI; son Lawrence Dungey of California; granddaughters, Arlea Swager (Adam) of Scotts, MI; Rachelle Whitfield and Monique Whitfield both of Lansing; 5 great-grandchildren Dominick, Xavier and Victor Swager, Anthony Carter, Teryn Wilson; sister, Karen Savage and nephew, Matt Savage.
