I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved father, Jack Goldman. He was one of the first persons to welcome me into the Goldman-Wilson family 47 years ago when I married his nephew, David Wilson. He always made me feel loved with his smile and special twinkle in his eye whenever we visited St Louis, a trip that was never complete without seeing him. Carole Wilson

We are sorry to hear the news of Jack's passing, which is the end of his generation in our family. When Jack came to the United States, he was a baby and a great favorite of the Red Cross girls on the ship.
To me, Jack was my favorite uncle, the one that listened to his nephews and nieces and who maintained his dignity all his life and sense of humor.
Two brief Jack stories, which you may not know. After Jack cut back his hours as a plumber, he told me that he was working "part-time," from 6:00am to 3:00pm, a mere nine hours a day. More recently, Jack was talking a walk when he was threatened by a german sheppard which bounded up to him, barking in a fierce manner. Jack knew eaxactly what to do, he screamed at the dog "Stay," and the dog stopped in his tracks and followed Jack's direction as Jack hurried home to the haven of his house.
I grieve for the fact that Jack will not be in St. Louis when I next come to visit my brother and his family. Jack has always been an essential place to visit when I'm in St. Louis.
Look forward to seeing you and your family at the wedding and the carrying on the cycle of life.
Dave
