Obituary

Jack E. Stevens, born April 19, 1936 to Milton and Flossie (Kissee) Stevens, passed away May 20, 2013. Mr. Stevens was a veteran of the United States Army and a locksmith at General Motors. He enjoyed working on and restoring old cars and was a race fan who loved going to Spartan Speedway and watching races on TV. He also loved to travel in his motor home and went to Alaska in it. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joann Heinz. Joanne; daughters, Shawn (Marc) Peck and Stacey Swanson; sons, Mike Stevens and Mark Stevens; step-daughter, Rhonda (Paul) Bennett; step-sons, Tom (Sandy) Kelley, Harry (Linda) Kelley and Bryan (Patti) Kelley; numerous grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Jerry (Norma) Stevens. Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p. m. on Friday, May 24, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, Michigan. Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, at Gunnisonville Cemetery in Lansing.
