Jack Paul Westerfield was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on September 8, 1932. During the early years of his life he lived in Burkburnett, TX, an oil boom town. Later the family moved all over the United States with Jack's father who was an officer in WWII. Jack went to high school in Waco and graduated from Baylor University when he was 20. Subsequently he took a position with the Internal Revenue Service. He was the youngest Revenue Agent in the Southwest at the time and qualified for graduate classes at the University of Michigan when he was 22. Jack Paul Westerfield was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on September 8, 1932. During the early years of his life he lived in Burkburnett, TX, an oil boom town. Later the family moved all over the United States with Jack's father who was an officer in WWII. Jack went to high school in Waco and graduated from Baylor University when he was 20. Subsequently he took a position with the Internal Revenue Service. He was the youngest Revenue Agent in the Southwest at the time and qualified for graduate classes at the University of Michigan when he was 22. He married Millicent Mason in 1955 and opened an accounting practice after the birth of their first child. He became a CPA the next year and had his own CPA practice for almost 50 years. He was a close friend of Bill Wilson's for 34 years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Millicent Westerfield; son Rick Westerfield and his wife Dasha, granddaughter Jennifer Palmer and her husband Don Palmer, and grandson Julian Westerfield; daughter Paula Westerfield and her partner Valerie and granddaughter Skyleah Westerfield; daughter Melanie Cizik and her husband Greg and three granddaughters, Reilly, McKenzie and Cameron Cizik. A memorial service will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway Houston, Texas 77079 on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 12:30pm.
