Grandpa Max,
I am grateful of everything you have taught me in life. You and Grandma Mabel loved and cared for us so much, you are the best Grandpa a boy could have. I am thankful for the teaching you gave me of the scriptures, late night cookies and milk though Grandma would say no because we had school, life lessons and skills you taught us and of course all the help that you do willingly gave all of us boys without us even asking. I know we are all struck with grief, but to me it's bittersweet. Selfish to say I want to keep you here forever, but happy to say that you now are where you so deserve and need to be Grandpa, free and with our Grandmother, among the lords halls now....please save me a cookie and a glass of milk. I'll see you and Grandma soon enough. Give uncle Andrew a huge hug too from Val and l. We Miss You.

We may not have seen eye to eye on something's, but I do know that Jacob was a very hard working man. Didn't stop for nothing. His Love and Faith for the Lord was shared with many people. I thank you for his knowledge that he shared with me and others. Sharon Garcia

My grandpa was always there ready with open arms for me. No matter how much time had passed he was always ready to teach me and give me wisdom pertaining to both the scriptures and the world. He loved his family very much and wanted nothing more then for all of us to be together. He may have been a hard man at times but I will always remember him for his wisdom, unwavering faith, kindness, and generosity. I will miss you my grandpa. I love you and we will be together again someday.

He who walks with the Lord in flesh will walk with the Lord in spirit. Not a day went by where he did not speak of our lords name. Thankyou dad for the teachings of the Holy scriptures throughout my entire life. The legacy you have taught us will live on for our entire lives giving us wisdom, strength and hopefully a chance to be with you in eternal life. I will miss you tremendously but I will remain steadfast in the word of God just like you taught me to be. May you walk with our Father in heaven as you dreamed of your entire life. Forever in my heart, until we meet again, your daughter Carmelita.

We may not shower him with praise. Nor mention his name in song,
And sometimes through our life we had moments we didn't get along but it seems that we forget the subtle joy that he can spread as he goes along. But it doesn't mean that we don't know. The wonderful role that he has had just being blessed by God to be a dad. And away down deep in a family and friends heart. There's a special place that is just for a dad ...Yes I will always love my dad.
