Jacqueline "Jackie" Leoine (Hall) Hawkins, 83, passed away at home on March 9, 2012 surrounded by her family. Jackie was born on July 10, 1928 in Hornell, NY. Jackie graduated from Hornell High School in 1946 and married Andrew "Bill" Hawkins on February 01, 1947. Jackie worked and retired from the St. James Hospital as an EKG Technician. Jackie was also an accomplished seamstress and did alterations for individuals and neighbors for years. Jackie and Bill were members of the Buds and Blossoms Square Dance club and enjoyed dancing and traveling with their friends for square dances. Surviving is her husband of 65 years, Andrew...
Jacqueline "Jackie" Leoine (Hall) Hawkins, 83, passed away at home on March 9, 2012 surrounded by her family. Jackie was born on July 10, 1928 in Hornell, NY.

Jackie graduated from Hornell High School in 1946 and married Andrew "Bill" Hawkins on February 01, 1947. Jackie worked and retired from the St. James Hospital as an EKG Technician. Jackie was also an accomplished seamstress and did alterations for individuals and neighbors for years. Jackie and Bill were members of the Buds and Blossoms Square Dance club and enjoyed dancing and traveling with their friends for square dances.

Surviving is her husband of 65 years, Andrew Hawkins; daughters, Janice Kerr (Stub Hartman) and Denise Walters (Ken), grandchildren Bradley Kerr (Rachael), Dominic Mastronunzio (Raquel Cantu), Brett Walters, and Craig Walters; and several grandchildren. Jackie is also survived by her sister, Yvonne Youll and a magnitude of nieces and nephews. Jackie is predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Marie Hall; brothers Charles and Stanley Jr; and sisters Bernadette Mullen and Genevieve Griswold.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the of life of Jackie Hawkins with her family on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm at the Recreation Center at Lake Country Estates, (Cedar Street), Bath, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to the Southern Tier Hospice, 11751 East Corning Rd., Corning, NY 14830.
