Oct. 31, 1938 - Nov. 30, 2016 Jacki Johnston passed away November 30, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Jacki was the oldest daughter of Clarence and Kitty Hamill who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Hamill McGee (Butch), daughters, Sissy Ming and Amy Wood (Chris), sons, Billy Harper (Anita), Sidney Johnston, Chris Johnston, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Jacki held several jobs in her lifetime but her most rewarding job was raising her five children. She was a kind and generous mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and great grandmother and we will all miss her so very much. A celebration of her life will be Saturday, December 3, at Johns-Ridouts Elmwood Chapel. Visitation will be at 9:00 with service at 10:00. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society

I knew Jacki as a neighbor while living in Norwood. She was a kind, thoughtful, happy person. Barbara will remember my family. My thoughts are with the family.
