Jacquelynn ( Jackie) Delores Thompson Frame passed away Tuesday, November 14th 2017. She was 87 years old.
She was born in Portland, Oregon on February 5th, 1930. She lived in the Portland area all her life graduating from Oregon Polytechnic Institute . After graduation Jackie began working at Pacific Northwest Bell where she worked in various positions until retiring in 1982. She loved shopping, was a magnificent gardener, decorator, cook and seamstress. Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was available to her family to show her love, care, and support at all times.
Jackie met and married Donald J Frame in 1954. They were married for 58 years Having a full and happy life together. They especially enjoyed square dancing and events with the Beaver chapter of the Oregon Model A club . Her husband Don preceded her in death in 2012. She survived by daughter KImberly, husband Ray Floistad), son Doug Frame, and beloved family friend, Sally Evertz. 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Jackie's faith was strong in her religion as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed conversing w family member Joyce Nelson, attending meetings and the door to door ministry work with the other brothers and sisters in the congregation. She enjoyed their company when they would stop at the house to check on her. Jackie looked forward to the resurrection,
a time when she would see all her loved ones again. Today she is in a state of sleep, and in Jehovah's memory.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 25th at 11:00 am at Skyline Memorial Gardens. 4101 NW Skyline Blvd. Portland, Or.
Donations may be made in Jackie's name to the Legacy Hopewell House, 6171 SW Capitol Hwy, Portland,, Or. 970239.
