Jaime Aquino-Pena 54, passed away November 13, 2009 after a long battle with heart disease and multi-organ failure. Jaime was born September 26, 1955 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Julio Aquino Rivera and Ramona Pe??He served in the US Army, and later graduated from UT Arlington with a BA in Political Science and also completed two years of law school at Texas Southern University. He was preceded in death by his father. He was preceded in death by his father. Jaime is survived by his wife, Norma Aquino; mother, Ramona Pena; brother, Dr. Carlos Aquino (Myra); sister, Diana Ferguson; children, Jaime Aquino, Armando Reyes Aquino (Christine), Jayme Annette Aquino (Michael), Frank Carlos Aquino(Andrea), Mark Anthony Vaca, Jaime Javier Aquino, Alyssa Nicole Aquino, Alanna Marie Aquino, Eddie Lopez, Freddie Lopez and Fernando Castillo.
He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family and a host of friends.
Jaime had an enormous heart of gold and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial: 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 400 N.E. 17th St. in Grand Prairie, Tx.
Interment: 1:30 p.m. at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
