He made everything around him beautiful and that was his life.

I was convinced this man was going to out live us all. His spirit could make everything heavy on my mind, disappear. I close my eyes and picture him looking down on me saying those sweet gental words "hey ya gal" with that sparkle in his eyes that held pure happiness. Me and my sister Teena spent a summer with grandma and papaw one year. That summer was one I hold dear to my heart. Mornings curled up on his lap. Endless cartoons. Wheelchair rides around the neighborhood, and the most famous hours I spent taking off his boot and tickling his foot & there wasn't a dang thing he could do about it! (Seems torturous, but his giggles only set fire to the flame). But how fortunate am I to have had him this long? And for that alone, I am so thankful. Now as for papaw and his bride.. That was a love you don't see these days. But he doesn't mind how long it takes, he'll be waiting for her at heavens gates. He made everything around him beautiful and that was his life.

Uncle Bo my hero! A life that most people would not have wanted, but Uncle Bo made the best of the hand he was dealt. Someone said one time "I don't think he knows he is disabled." How true that was.... You were loved so much and you will be missed just as much. Now that your body is whole you can RIP! Take all of our love to heaven and enjoy your eternal life. Love and miss you already, Diane G. Nichols

What a tremendous loss for our family. But our loss is Heaven's gain. My Uncle Bo was everything you could wish for in an uncle ... sweet, loving, gentle and kind. He would give the sweetest smile when he would see you. His eyes would light up and almost sparkle as he would stretch upward to give you a warm hug. I know Mammy, Granddaddy, and Uncle Bo's siblings who went before him had a Glorious celebration when Uncle Bo entered the Gates of Heaven, and God welcomed Uncle Bo with outstretched loving arms. Uncle Bo ... you were loved and will be greatly missed.
