Jim and I were at the same grade school for only two years (Busch--7th and 8th grade), but I still remember his beautiful smile that is also reflected in these photos. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

We talked on the phone a few times in the last two years. You helped me think about a lot of things in my life. Sorry I didn't come to see you when I had an opportunity.
Never forget the Mercedes and Mr. Graham's first period gym class.
Thanks for the CD's you sent after our long music discussions.
I'm glad your feeling better now, and at peace. I hope the wifi isn't to broken up...and you can hear all of us.
Take care......take care of ME.
Thanks for the tunes.
Bye Jimmy

I am so sad to hear about Jimmy's passing. My condolences to his family and loved ones. I know he fought a long hard battle. Jimmy and I were really good friends in high school. I think about him often and have so many happy memories of him. He and I were in touch via e-mail in the last couple of years but I have regrets now that I didn't get together with him during that time. I will truly miss him.

Dear Michelle and family,
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means proceed those who are already asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in tthe air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

I Thessalonians 4: 15-17

We are praying for you.
Love, Steve and Stephanie

Jim was my cousin and friend. He also was a genealogical mentor to me. He loved his family so much. Hold on to your memories and let them guide you during this time of sadness.

My cousin and my excellent friend. What a fine man, historian, genealogist, and Cardinal buddy. I'll never be able to share my love for the Redbirds and their history like I did with Mr. Stats. Michelle, and Tommy, he loves you so much.

There are those in our lives who cross our path, bring smiles to our face and leave a lasting impression. Jim was respected, admired, and someone whose company was always enjoyed and cherished. His time with us was way too short...he will forever remain in our hearts and our memories. Peace to his family in knowing that he no longer suffers and is in a better place.

Be still and know that He is God. The hurt is earthly and finite, your time together in heaven will be eternal. Fear not what the unknown could be, instead know who is in control.
