Sorry to learn that he has passed on and at such young age. We were neighbors in Detroit and cultivated an early interest in US and UN stamps together as teenagers. Our mothers were good friends. I also recall the tragic death of his younger brother many years ago. May he rest in peace.

Even though I havent seen him for decades, it seems that it was only yesterday that we were talking about toys and memorabilia. I remember him as a witty and caring man and Im sorrty to find out that hes gone. Why is it that we seems to procrastinate and leave for tomorrow to visit old friends? I'm reeally sorry to se him gone and, from thousands of miles away, here I am sending my love to Coleen, Sue, and Matthew. May he rest in Gods peace. Carlos A. Altgelt (Caroline, John & Batrbaras dad).
