Debra, so sorry I was not able to attend Jimmy's services. I have been involved with my parents who are both bed-bound. He was a valuable member of our community, as his obituary confirms, and a gifted servant in our church. I know you will miss him but rejoice at the same time that he is in the presence of our Savior.

Judy was my Supervisor at Biblica US Inc and the best manager I have ever had; and still a great friend. She spoke very highly of her Dad and Mom and I know she will miss her daddy but has the assurance that he is enjoying his eternity with the Lord. My prayers for comfort and peace are with your family during this time of mourning and recovery.

It is with deep regret that I was unable to visit with you, and attend Jimmy's service. He was a dear friend for many years, and a good neighbor. It was my good fortune to serve with him on the school board and several committees at The Alliance. His ability to recognize, evaluate, and solve was amazing! Many, many people who never knew him will benefit from his expertise, now and in the future. David Palmer

Mrs. Doris, Deborah, Karen, Jimmy, and Judy,

I was greatly saddened when I heard that Mr. Jimmy had passed away. He was a tremendous influence on me during his time at Oakland. I still have the page "dog-eared" in my Bible that he often said was one of his favorites, II Chronicles 16:9 I have often repeated the story of how he sang (actually spoke) on one of the fifth Sunday singings with me, Lola Crawford and David Wilson many years ago at Oakland. He was a great person and a fine example of a Christian. My prayers are with you.

As a 10 year old I played baseball at the "Y" and Mr. Price coached the Kiwanis Team. He was always a gentleman, kind and good to everyone. I was lucky to serve on Corinth School Board and Alcorn County Electric Power Association and Mr. Price represented both. He will be missed greatly by this community. He has been an friend for the last 60 years and I'm glad for that relationship. May God Bless the family.

Mrs Price, Deborah, Karen, Jimmy, and especially Judy,
I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. Price's passing, but rejoice with you on his entry into heaven! For so many years during school age years, you were so much a 2nd family to me. When I was there, it was Judy Bug and Julie Bug that your dad would call us. I learned to play the guitar in your first house, and accepted Jesus into my life in the current house. Your dad was always so involved with his family. He loved yall very much, and it showed. I know you will miss him. I love you all dearly and grieve your loss with you. God be with you, Julie Walters Palermo

Bo Wroten

I am very sorry for your loss. but I'm happy to know that "Coach Price" is at the right hand of our Heavenly Father looking down with that wonderful smile of his.

I was fortunate to be on several of the baseball teams that he coached in the 60's and 70's and he made a definite positive impression on many boys as they grew into young men. I know he did countless things for the community, but his work at the Y touched so many young people at a critical time in their developing lives.

His work in his church and community will be missed but his smile is what I remember and that will probably be missed the most.

He and my dad, Coach Wroten will have a lot of catching up to do. They both are doing a lot of smiling right now.

God Bless.
