Mr. James H. Watts, Jr. age 78, of Centerville, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017.
Mr. Watts was born in Nashville, TN, on January 27, 1939, the son of the late James Hardaman Watts, Sr. and Myrtle L. Seay Watts. Mr. Watts was a correctional officer for forty-three years and a member of Centerville United Methodist Church. He served in the United States Marines and a member of West Nashville Phoenix Lodge #131 F&AM.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Watts; a daughter, Sherri (Danny) Garcia; Steven and Stanley Watts; a sister, Barbara (Bobbie) Denson; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 18, 2017, at one o’clock, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Brother Eddie Smotherman officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Wednesday from four o’clock until eight o’clock and Thursday from eleven o’clock until the funeral hour.
