James W. Baird Sr., 66, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2017 after a long illness. Mr. Baird was the long time building manager at Clark Tower in Memphis, TN. He also was a wonderful chef and at one time owned his own restaurant. He very dearly loved his family and the company of the humming birds who came to visit James on a regular basis. James was preceded in death by his father Sam Baird and is survived by his loving mother, Jessie Brewer of Olive Branch MS. He has two children James Baird Jr. and Frances Baird Triplett. He also leaves behind four beautiful grandchildren. The family will receive frinds, Saturday August 12, at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch from 1 pm to 2 pm with the services following directly after at 2 pm. The burial will take place at Bethel Cemetery. The family requests donations be made to Collierville High School Alumni Association.
