Peacefully at Rouge Valley Health Care (Ajax) on Sunday, May 1st, 2011 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Patricia for 49 years. Dear son of Nellie and the late James Aldridge. Loving father of James, and John and his wife Jackie. Grandfather of Connie, Jonathan, James and Eric. Brother of Charlie (Marie), Sidney (Susan), Mike (Cathy), Nellie Griffis (KP), Edith Bunyan (Albert), Sherry Vanduzen (Ron) and the late Bill. Brother-in-law of Dot Aldridge, Ken (Gloria), Ron (Pat), Doris (Nick), Will (Marina), Marion (Keith), Audrey (Allison), Jim (Deb), Les and the late Alice. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his special neighbors and friends Peter and Marsha Huk, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends in Whitby and Lake Dalrymple. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Wednesday, May 4th from 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, May 5th at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Durham Regional Cancer Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
