James P. Allen, 46, of Clearfield, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Allen was born on May 14, 1965 in Milwaukee Wisconsin, the son of Glen P. and Marlene J. (Mahas) Allen.
He was owner of JA Exterminating of Clearfield.
Mr. Allen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Chester Hill, Philipsburg.
He is survived by his parents of West Bend, Wisconsin, his wife, Tabitha L. (Dixon) Allen of Clearfield, whom he married December 15, 2007, four step children: Apryl, Joseph, Luke and Rose Andrews all of Clearfield, a brother, Glen Allen and his wife Kris of Wisconsin and a sister, Jeanette Knoeck and her husband Scott of Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Chester Hill, with President Jeff Hipps officiating. Interment will be in Bigler Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., of Clearfield on Monday, May 23, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. and on Tuesday at the church from 3:00 P.M. until the hour of services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second Street, Suite 102, Clearfield, PA 16830.
