Funeral services for James Dennis Armstrong, Sr., age 57, of Spring will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 25, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home. Dennis was born January 19, 1954 in Houston, Texas to J.D. and Betty Humphries Armstrong and passed away on March 22, 2011 at his residence in Spring, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Armstrong of Spring; daughters, Alana Armstrong of Conroe and Christa Lawrence and husband Jason of Spring; sons, Jason Armstrong and wife Kandra, J.D....

Dennis was born January 19, 1954 in Houston, Texas to J.D. and Betty Humphries Armstrong and passed away on March 22, 2011 at his residence in Spring, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Armstrong of Spring; daughters, Alana Armstrong of Conroe and Christa Lawrence and husband Jason of Spring; sons, Jason Armstrong and wife Kandra, J.D. Armstrong, Jr. and wife Janis and Justin Armstrong and wife Ashleigh, all of Spring; sisters, Debbie Gherring and husband Gerry, Judy Landers, Marji Cercy and Frances Young and husband Mike; grandchildren, Nathan Armstrong, Silas Gillian, Gracelynn Lawrence, Macie Lawrence, Jonathan Lawrence, Renee Lawrence, Payton Armstrong, Paige Armstrong, Katlyn Armstrong, Taylor Armstrong, Avril Armstrong, Rhyder Armstrong and Paysli Armstrong. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in his name to the American Lung Association of Texas, 2030 N. Loop West, Suite 250, Houston, TX 77018.
