TO: Annette, Jamison & Caitlin. I am saddened to hear of James' passing. I have known James for more than 25 years. We worked in the legal community at several firms, L&E, Pachulski & BMC Group. He loved his family deeply, and was so very proud of the accomplishment of his children. I know he will be sorely missed.

I remember some of the bands James played with in Fairbanks. It was wonderful to see him back in Fairbanks a couple years ago with the reunion of Glass Bead Game. Aside from his musical talents, James was a genuinely warm and gentle soul. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

James was a friend through high school and beyond. I fondly remember "hanging" at the Bartlett home with Ma, Pa, John and Kate. Played music and had great times with him. I was an avid fan of Styrofoam Mountain and Glass Bead Game. You will be missed old friend. Rest in Peace. My sincere condolences to his family.
