Obituary

James "Jim" Arthur Black, 81, died Tuesday May 13, 2014 at his daughter's residence. Born in Iowa City, Iowa he had resided in Fort Wayne since 2013 having moved here from El Paso, Texas. Survived by his daughters; Helen R. Black, Fort Wayne, Elizabeth A. Fails, Austin, Texas, sons Harry C. Black, Niceville, Florida, Sandy J. Black, 2 granddaughters, and 1 great-granddaughter. Jim was retired from the U.S. Military having served in the Army for more than 20 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Wauneva Mae Black. A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. Thursday May 29, 2014 at the Fort Wayne Country Club. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home. Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Winchester Rd. Chapel in charge of arrangements. www.klaehnfahlmeltonfunerals.com
