Few people are able to look back upon their life and say, "I'm glad I gave my life for that thing." In a world that constantly tempts us to pursue personal agendas, Jim Bowman lived with a singular focus for the mission of Jesus Christ. As a result of his passion and sacrifice, orphans have homes, villages have churches, and India has hope.

Ginny: Words can not express how sorry that er are for your loss. You know that Sam and I love you and we loved Jim. Sam always looked as Jim as his mentor he still uses the books that he gave him when he retired from bear creek. I always thought that he was such a great teacher and he would always explained as he taught. He had such a loving spirit as well as you. You and your family will remain in our prayers. I know that he is at the feet of his Savior. We love you .Sam and Leslie Shelton
