James William Brown III, 54 of Carmichaels, died Monday, August 8, 2011 in his home. He was born January 4, 1957 in Elyria, OH, a son of the late James W. Brown Jr. and Patty Sue Delaney Brown. Mr. Brown was a 1975 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and had served in the U.S. Army. He was the former owner of Brown's Tavern in Nemacolin. Mr. Brown was a member of The Journey church. On December 23, 1982 he married Christine Wingard, who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Patty Sue Brown at home and a son, Bill Burchianti of Uniontown. He was born January 4, 1957 in Elyria, OH, a son of the late James W. Brown Jr. and Patty Sue Delaney Brown.
Mr. Brown was a 1975 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and had served in the U.S. Army.
He was the former owner of Brown's Tavern in Nemacolin.
Mr. Brown was a member of The Journey church.

Friends will be received from12 noon to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011, the hour of a Memorial Service in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, with Rev. Mark Gaydos and his wife Mary Lynn officiating. Inurnment will be in Jefferson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Service Society, 875 Greentree Road, 2 Parkway Center Suite 125, Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
