On Tuesday, December 4, 2012, James Bruce Cardwell, Sr., age 90, of Alpharetta, GA, formerly of Bethesda, MD. Husband of the late Mary Louise (Sheppard) Cardwell. Beloved father of James B. Cardwell, Jr. and his wife Rebecca, Mark Cardwell and his wife Debra, David Cardwell and his wife Gail and John Cardwell and his wife Susan. Brother of Sue Cardwell Farquhar and Blake Cardwell. Devoted grandfather of Amy Soule, Benjamin, Mark, Adam, Samantha, Daniel and Christopher Cardwell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
