What a remarkable man James Clark, what a privilege to have known you. You were a man of great faith in God,with enormous love of family. Your life has touched so many and has left a lasting impression. I consider myself blessed to have known you. I will remember you. "This world is not my home. I'm just passing through. My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue. The angels beckon me from heavens open door and I can't feel at home in this world anymore" James has left a wonderful and loving legacy of a life well lived. The gates of heaven opened wide and the angels beckoned him home, he is with his loving wife and God. My condolences to his family.

What a privilege to have known Jim. Not only was he one of the most godly men I have known but he also fathered a son, Tim, who became the love of my daughter, Sherri's life, giving me the most wonderful grandchildren, Sarah & Stephen, who are carrying on his legacy of faith in Jesus Christ. I thank God for his influence in their lives as well as those of us who had the pleasure of being in his presence. Tom & I have so many pleasant memories of times we shared with Jim & Betty in the mountains, at the beach, at their home, & of course in Alabama. It is sad to lose such a warrior of God but he is now enjoying a reunion with his wife, Betty & seeing our Savior, face to face, that those of us who are left behind can only imagine. Also he leaves behind a devoted daughter, Lauren, who influences my family, not only with words but example. And Brad, his other son, who so faithfully cared for him during his declining health, thank you Jim, we are truly blessed by your life. we will miss you but we rejoice for you. Well done good & faithful servant...May we continue to share the faith with others as you have done.

We know the day will come but death always leaves us with grief. For that I am sad, as three children say goodbye to their father. Yet, what a privilege to have been blessed by knowing Jim Clark. Jim has lived a beautiful example of servanthood, and truly cared for those around him. Now, and for the rest of my life, when I think of Shuey's Pretzels, I will remember Jim Clark.
