Funeral service for James Henry "Sandy" Coleman, age 91, of Childersburg will be Monday, January 27, 2014 at 2PM at Odena Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Courson and Walter Lee Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Odena Cemetery. He was preceded in death by daughter: Teresa Lynn Coleman; grandson: Caleb Kearley; parents: John Terry and Flora Coleman and brothers: Gerald, Winfred, John and Isaac Thomas Coleman. He served in the Army during WWII and was a Purple Heart Recipient. He was a member of Odena Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Lula Mae Coleman of Childersburg; Daughters: Wanda Kearley and husband Gene of Dothan, Brenda Bulger and husband Jay of Childersburg; Brothers: Walter Lee Coleman of Alex City, Ray Coleman of Cummings, GA; Grandchildren: Zac Bulger and wife Jamie of Childersburg, Lane Bulger and wife Nichole of Childersburg, Jacob Kearley and wife Lindsay of Auburn and Lindsey Turner and husband Ryne of Dothan. Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the services.
