All our lives were touched by Uncle Carson, He joined the Navy the year I was born, and when I started school , He wrote me letters, and sent me some dolls from the countrys he visited, I remember when he got married and brought Martha to see us, I have always thought her to be one of the most beautiful ladies I have ever met, full of love and grace, May God be with you all, I share your tears, Love Sheila

J. C. was a good friend to me and my family. Helping us whenever there was a need. He was a patriot who loved and served his country, and was loyal to his and his wife's family. When he married my sister, he knew that meant her family also. He changed flats, fixed plumbing, kept our cars running and gave good advice when asked. When he gave his opinion there was no doubt as to his meaning or motive, when he gave his help it was without reserve or question. His wry humor could always bring a laugh or a double-take. He was generous with his garden, with his time for others and his genuine concern for family and friends. Rest in peace, old friend. You did good. Be assured that Martha and Mike and David can count on us.
