James A. Dugan, age 78, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Thursday February 8, 2018 in a local hospital. James was born August 4, 1939 in Hempstead County. He was retired from construction in 1962 and then worked many years at O'rielly Auto Parts.
He was preceded in death by a son Dennis Dugan.
Survived by his wife Kathy Dugan of Texarkana, TX; one daughter and son-in-law Sandy and Brandon Martindale of Texarkana, Tx; one sister and brother-in-law Judy and Glenn Scroggins of Hope, AR; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law Mike and Cici Spriggs of Wake Village, TX; one granddaughter Addison Martindale of Texarkana, TX.
Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Monday, February 12, 2018 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane officiated by Chaplain Chris Shupe. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 P.M. Sunday at East Funeral Home, 2807 Moores Lane, Texarkana, TX.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN. 38105
