James "Ben" Bennett Hatchett, 86 of Nashville died Wednesday, April 02, 2014 in his residence. He was born August 14, 1927 in Brown County, IN to Bertie Hatchett and Ina Woods Hatchett. He was retired from Cummins Engine. After his retirement Ben became a self-employed Farmer and was an Air Force Veteran. Survivors include his son, Bennett Brady Hatchett of Nashville; two daughters, Lisa Williams and her husband Wilbur Brent Williams and Anita Miller all of Bloomington; 4 grandchildren; two brothers, Keith and David Hatchett; and several nieces and nephews. Survivors include his son, Bennett Brady Hatchett of Nashville; two daughters, Lisa Williams and her husband Wilbur Brent Williams and Anita Miller all of Bloomington; 4 grandchildren; two brothers, Keith and David Hatchett; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 58, years Fay Marie Hatchett; a daughter, Yvonne Hatchett; and seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, April 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 St Rd 135N, burial will follow in Elkinsville Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to services on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 PM in the funeral home.
