James Howe, age 86, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013 in Canton, OH. He was born in Canton on March 28, 1926 to Wilbur and Sidney (Myers) Howe. Jim served with the U.S. Marine Corps Occupation Forces in Japan during WWII. He worked at the Hoover Co. for 44 years and was a member of the Community Christian Church. Jim loved his family, his dogs, golf, and woodworking.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Susan; and his great-grandson. Jim is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary Louise (Danner) Howe; daughters, Susan (Robert) Domanico, Joyce (Alan) Ring, Heather (Brad) Evans, Lisa Whitten; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two sister-in-laws; two brother-in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a private memorial service for the family with burial at a later date. Memorial contributions made be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
