To Jim's family and Friends, here are the words I gave at the service. I hope they bring comfort to you.
As all of Jims friends know he was always interested in the score, so I wrote this in a way he would enjoy:
4 score and 2 years ago Jim Jolly was brought forth on this continent.
3 score and 0 years before that our country was at war with itself.
4 score and 7 years before that our founders established our country and constitution led by our creator.
In the game of life Jim always got top score, and our creator needed him back on his team.
Thank you Jim for being a great father in law to Pat, Christine and me while you were on our team here on earth.

Dear Janice, I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. My memories of Jim and you go way back but learning of your adventures abroad certainly encouraged me to broaden my perspective. And of course playing golf with you two was always a joy.
It was a pleasure and honor to know Jim. All my thoughts and prayers,

Dear Ms. Jolly, I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Jolly. He was always such a kind person. I remember the strong walk he had at Columbia Plaza, you could feel the floor vibrate. (smile) I hope you are doing well and take care.

Dear Jenny, Patrick, Reagan and Rianna,
Our hearts are heavy today as we learned of the passing of your father. He must have been an incredible man with a awesome sense of humor. He certainly passed this on to his loving daughter whom in turn passed it onto her fun loving daughter's Rianna and Reagan.
Much Love, prayers and faith,
The O'Neill Family, Michelle, Gabe and MaryMargaret
