Obituary

James William Jordan, passed away Saturday April 12, 2014 in Louisville.

He was born on November 17, 1918. Bill was a long time resident of Connellsville, PA. He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Emma Jean as well as his daughter, Karen Sutton (Bob) and two grandchildren, Stacie Ingram (Shane) and Jessica Slucher (Justin) as well as three great-grandchildren of Louisville, KY and one daughter Kathleen (Clayton) of Raleigh, NC.

Bill was a purple-heart Veteran of WWII. He was on Normandy beach on D day. He was a demolition specialist with the 112th Combat Engineers. He was a bridge builder, a card-player, a good man, a great father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be truly missed.

His funeral will be Tuesday April 15, 2014 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Disabled American Vets.
