Obituary Notice
James D. Kemery, 69, of Coldwater, passed away December 4, 2011 at the Borgess Medical Center. He was born December 6, 1941 in Michigan City, Indiana to Paul and Marjorie (Brown) Kemery. He was married to Leonette Wotta. She preceded him in death in 2005.
Jim had lived his entire life in Bronson and Coldwater. He had worked at ATL & CF truck lines. He enjoyed playing fast pitch softball as the pitcher, he was a hard worker and he took pride in what he did. He loved spending time with his family.
Jim is survived by his children: Scott (Elizabeth) Kemery, Dawnette (Gino) Burns, Jamie (Karrie) Kemery, Dwan Kemery, his grandchildren; Crystal (Mike) Davis, Robert Oswell, Victoria Kemery, Nicolette Kemery, Kenna Burns, Brendan Kemery, Benjamin Burns, Alyson Kemery, Joette Burns, two great grandchildren; Jamyah Oswell, Aryanna Davis. He is also survived by three sisters; Beverly, Kathy, Deborah and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Leonette, his parents, brother, Richard Wrench and mother-in-law, Rose Wotta.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Putnam Funeral Home in Coldwater. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Putnam Funeral Home in Coldwater with Father Dan Doctor officiating. In lieu of flowers please make donations to support children with Autism and Asperger's Syndrome to this school: Temple Grandin School, 6446 Jay Rd., Boulder, CO 80301

I am saddened by the passing of an old softball competitor. I have know Jim for many years as we competed many a times at the Coldwater Fastpitch Assn. games. I have fond memories of our times together whether it be at a softball game or meeting in town or a high school game. My prayers are with you and I trust God to provide as needed.
