JAMES W KUPLIC Passed away at his home on June 17th 2014 He was born in Spruce WI on June 25th 1927. He attended East High school in Green Bay WI and 2 years at Purdue University in near Chicago. He joined the Marine corp in 1944 during WWII and served in the Korean conflict, he was discharged in 1952. He married Dot in 1953 and started his career in construction with Graver Tank and mfg in East Chicago. He retired in 1978 after many years as construction manager. He then moved to St Louis MO to work for Brooks mfg and construction comp as a construction manager/ engineer for 5 years. He and Dot then moved to their home in Port St Lucie...

He was born in Spruce WI on June 25th 1927. He attended East High school in Green Bay WI and 2 years at Purdue University in near Chicago. He joined the Marine corp in 1944 during WWII and served in the Korean conflict, he was discharged in 1952.
He married Dot in 1953 and started his career in construction with Graver Tank and mfg in East Chicago. He retired in 1978 after many years as construction manager. He then moved to St Louis MO to work for Brooks mfg and construction comp as a construction manager/ engineer for 5 years. He and Dot then moved to their home in Port St Lucie FL. After a few years Jim was offered a consulting job with AEC engineering, he did many projects for them and projects overseas in Taiwan. In 1992 he started doing volunteer work for St Vincent DePaul and engineered the construction and opening of a new thrift store and pantry, he also did neighborhood watch and patrol for their subdivision. He was a 45 year member of the Knights of Colombus. A few years ago he had the privilege of taken the Honor flight to Washington DC.
Jim and Dot had two sons Tim 53 and Tracy 48, Tracy had pre deceased in Jan 1 2011. He has 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren .
Jim was a man who loved everyone and saw good in all people, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM June 24th at St Elizabeth Ann Seton church on Tunis st Port St Lucie. In lieu of flowers please donate to Hospice or St Vincent DePaul Society
