Marquita and Jesse are often in my thoughts. I don't know Marquita, but my heart goes out to her and to Jesse and his family. Jim was quiet, but a huge presence. I'm sure you all miss him terribly.

Wow, so sorry to hear this. I didn't realize until I saw the photos that he looked just like his mom. He never lost his cheeky smile, did he? What a nice person, what a great smile, and what a blessed life. Prayers to all of you.

I didn't know Jim well, probably since I was a year behind him at NHS, but I can see from the photo gallery that he lived a good life. I'm glad to read that he had some good years with the love of his life. He is gone too soon. Our generation as a whole, doesn't seem to be making it much past 60, if that. My condolences, thoughts & prayers are certainly with his family & friends. [http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/kithara2]

Jimmy, we were childhood friends all through school. We spent many hours and days playing and growing. We drifted apart after graduation and lost touch. You passing saddens me deeply.

We called him Jimmy Bob, just because he was such an Okie. Jim was a man of wonderful integrity and we thought the world of him. He was humble, had a great sense of humor, loved his kids and worked hard. And there was just something about him. The whole Drayton clan loves him. All our best to the Mitchell family.

Truly hurt,James and I spent many late nights, weekends & some holidays working across the shop from each other,it was never a dull moment. We had a lot of good laughs over a 10 year+ span right up to our last visit a month ago, even while feeling under the weather he had me in tears laughing reminiscing over memories and good times we shared. James Mitchell,we're gonna truly miss you man. Rest easy brother, You're finally getting that vacation in paradise that we always joked about.

James was not only a friend but a father figure to many, including myself. James was always one to brighten your day with a soft spoken "hey boy, what are you doing" followed by grin and playful but yet sometimes painful smack on the back. I was on the receiving end of these encounters many times and can still hear his voice and see his face as if it just happened. James, you will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have bonded with you and may you rest in peace. Love you Snoop.
