JAMES L. RISTUM, 66, of Port St. Lucie, FL, died July 14, 2013 at his home.
Born in Detroit, MI, James was a resident of Port St. Lucie for 13 years, moving from Warren, MI.
During the Vietnam War, Mr. Ristum served in the US Air Force.
Prior to retirement, he worked as a Steel Mill Operator in Michigan for 40 years.
He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. Jim loved bowling, and had bowled several "300" games.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years Darlene "Dee" Ristum of Port St. Lucie, FL; two daughters, Sharon Ristum of Dearborn, MI, Jennifer Ristum of Warren, MI; his mother, Lera Ristum of Warren, MI; one brother, Dennis Ristum, of Warren, MI; and two grandchildren Kyle and Brittany. He was predeceased by a son Shannon Ristum.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, July 20, 2013, 11AM at Central Baptist Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.
Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
