James E. Wade, Sr., 82, returned to his Heavenly Father on June 26, 2012 at 5:30am.
Mr. Wade was retired from General Electric where he worked for 25 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Wade is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley Wade; also leaving behind his children, Robin Wade (Steve), Jim Wade, Jr. (Donna), Linda Hessig (Rick), Judy Haney (David), and Cindy May (Jack); 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and also missed by his sister, Betty Myers.
Funeral service will be noon on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-8pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
