Jane P. Lewis, 84, of Seagoville, passed away November 10, 2015 in Carrollton, Texas.



Jane was born Betty Jane Pulliam, September 24, 1931 in Rossville, TN. She went to Fayette County High School in Somerville, TN where she grew up. She played basketball as well as being a cheerleader and was a Fayette County Beauty Queen. She went to Memphis State and was a cheerleader for 2 years where she met her husband of 63 years. She married Gene P. Lewis in Tunica, MS March 1, 1952.



She is survived by her husband Gene and their four children, Paul (Mary Sue) Lewis, Pam (Ted) Novak, Ray Lewis and Joel Lewis. Grandchildren, Chris, Jason and Priscilla Novak, Mary Jane (Jasen) Hicks, Michael (Kathryn) Lewis, Michael (Karen) Manrose and Steve (Amber) Manrose. Great grandchildren, Haley Burns, Jakob Hicks, Anthony, Andrew, Abbie, Sam, Levi, Timothy, Naomi, Amber and Paiton Manrose and Hayden (Marie) Manrose. Great great-grand-child, Anthony Manrose.





Jane is preceded by her parents, James Perry and Opal Louise Pulliam, her sisters, Mary Louise Murphey, Priscilla P. Langdon and Barbara Jo McFarland. She is survived by her sister Virginia Boswell and brother Perry Pulliam and many other nieces and nephews.



Her greatest joy was being a housewife and Mother. She loved to laugh, play and be with her family and friends.



Funeral services will be held at the Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville on Monday November 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Jim Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow Tuesday November 17, 2015 at Memphis Funeral Homes & Memorial Gardens Bartlett, TN at 12:00 for visitation and 1:00 for graveside service with Rev. Tim Vassar officiating.



Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Ponthier, Jason Burns, Michael Lewis, Jasen Hicks, Ted Novak, and Dave Hicks.
