Janeen Coleman Kelminson passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013, surrounded by her adoring family. Born in Dallas on August 5, 1950, Janeen is survived by her husband of 33 years, Marc Kelminson; her children, Greg and Michael Kelminson; her parents, Julius and Frances Coleman; her sister and brother-in-law, Andrea and Cal Donsky; her sister and brother-in-law, Wendy and Ken Goldaber; her brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Julie Coleman; her sister-in-law and her husband, Nancy and Jim Langley; her brother-in-law and his wife, Larry and Margaret Kelminson; and Janeen's many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to all of the caregivers and hospice workers who made her life a little more comfortable during her final days.

Janeen graduated from Hillcrest High School before attending the University of Texas at Austin. After earning her undergraduate and master's degrees, Janeen pursued a career in teaching special needs children. She then turned her attention to her pride and joy, her sons, Michael and Greg. Family was Janeen's life. She enjoyed family celebrations, vacationing with her family at her parents' summer house in California, and babysitting her nieces, nephews, and cousins. In her free time she could also be seen at her collector's clubs, searching for the next hidden treasure. Most of all, she treasured spending time with her loving family.

God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms around you
And whispered "Come to Me. "
With tearful eyes we watched you
And saw you pass away,
Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard-working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

Services will be at Congregation Shearith Israel, located at 9401 Douglas Ave, Dallas, TX 75225, on Wednesday, April 24th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, Janeen's family suggests memorial contributions to the Callier Center for Communication Disorders or the charity of your choice.

"My Condolences to the Family. During this time of sorrow, may you find peace and comfort in this sure promise found at John 6:40 With Deep Sympathy"
