Janet Sansom Holbrook went to join the Lord on March 13, 2017 at the age of 62 in Ft Myers, Florida following a courageous battle with cancer. Janet was born in 1955 in Russellville, Kentucky to the late JR and Edna Sansom and moved to Ft Myers, Florida in 2005. Janet passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving children.
Janet was an amazing, vibrant woman with a great sense of humor, an exuberant personality and a zest for living life to the fullest, but her strength is what will be admired and remembered the most. Janet adored her family, her grandchildren, her gang of ladies, playing golf and spending time at the beach.
Janet is survived by her husband JT Holbrook, her children Nathan (Jessica) Stith, Bo (Nathaniel) Brault and Jade (Kyle) Redden; grandchildren Ruby and Naomi Stith, Benjamin and Emery Brault, and Reese Redden (who lovingly knew her as "Glama"); her brother Larry Sansom, step-son Brad (Erica) Holbrook and their son's Brady, Myers and Harris and her many other family members and friends. Janet was loved by so many and will be terribly missed.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of Janet's life Sunday, April 9th between 2 and 4:30 with Remembrances at 3pm at Colonial Country Club, 9181 Independence Way, Ft. Myers, FL 33913.
In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to Janet's Memorial Garden via Sunman's Nursery and Landscaping (239-433-5656) or Hope Hospice http://www.hopehospice.org/donate.

Although I never had an opportunity to meet you, I did meet your amazing children! How proud you must have been of each of them as they grew into beautiful people, adults, and parents. May you be at peace now knowing what a great life you shared with them and may memories of you live long in their hearts! I'm so sorry and God bless you all❤

Shocked to hear of Janet's passing. Having known Janet through a lot of years in real estate, she was one of those people who ALWAYS made me laugh. She was a very genuine woman who was easy to love being around. And so beautiful! I always wished I could be as poised and polished as she was. What a tremendous loss. Prayers to her family. When we all get to Heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be. See you in eternity pretty lady.
