Janice Rosemary Liebe of Garden City passed away peacefully on November 23, 2016 at 70 years of age.
Janice was born September 29, 1946 in Highland Park, Michigan to Norman Earl and Mary Elizabeth (nee Markham) Herbert. After graduating from High School, she met her husband to be, Warren Liebe while on a trip to Florida. In 1967 at age 21, she married Warren in Fort Pierce, Florida and later moved to New Jersey to raise their son Russell.
She is survived by her son Russell Liebe of Del Air, New Jersey. Siblings; Ellen M. Smith of Commerce Township, Robert Herbert of Charlotte and Norman Herbert of Waterford.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm. Interment will take place at 1:00 pm on Thursday at the Elmwood Cemetery in Yale, Michigan. Memorial contributions suggested to the National Alliance on Mental Illness or the American Cancer Society.
