Mr.Sutton:
First I want to apologize for not attending your funeral. Because of heavy rain and the distance involved my wife insisted I not drive across town. I regret that I did not get to talk with you at any length. You are certainly to be commended, to the highest order, for being such a fine man, role model, husband and Father. Not to be forgotten, you were a Veteran for over 20 years. I for one, not to mention your family, are certainly proud to have known you for that alone.
I'll also miss you and getting to know you much better. God Bless!

Although it's been years since I've seen you, I have wonderful memories. I will never forget the summer you and Aunt Lanelle took me with you to Alabama and Eddie and I have great and fun memories of being in the Lion's club with you. I take peace in knowing that you are back with your lady love and with the son you have not seen in so long. Keep the coals burning until we all meet again. Love always-Becky

I always remember the smell of cigars. Every time I smell cigars, I think of you. Or peppermints and peppermint sticks. I remember that old bible that had highlights and notes in it beside your chair stand. I remember us going to church and after sunday service you always stopped somewhere to have a family dinner. I love you. I miss you. <3

I can still smell the way your truck smelled when I went out on the road with you. The smell of the leather and cigars. I cherish the stories I heard sitting under the table while you and Grandma played cards with family and friends.Wish I learned how to play them with yall. The Easter cookouts were the best.So sad that Freyja and Merrick will never know what it is like to grow up hearing your voice. Your were loved greatly and will be missed horribly.
